Hi my name is Brad Sleader and I decided to start CS 26 DESIGNS after the sudden and unexpected passing of my brother Clint Sleader at the age of 47.
Clint was not only my brother he was a father to Morgan and Brock, Son, uncle, brother in-law, partner and friend to many.
Clint had quite a few passions in his life, first and foremost his children. Closely followed by Fishing, dirt bikes and muscle cars among other things.
26 was Clint’s dirt bike racing number for years and CS being his initials, it was only fitting we named this brand CS26.
Clint had these passions from when he was a kid all the way until the time when he passed. In fact, his last 2 days were spent fishing all day Saturday and riding dirt bikes on Sunday.
Clint loved a joke and was always up to something. People that were friends with Clint had a friend for life. He was always texting and calling making sure people were okay. If you were going through anything in life you knew that Clint would be there to support you in any way he could.
Our world is certainly not the same now that he is no longer with us.
In the weeks leading up to Clint’s passing he had pain in his neck area and like all tough men ignored it and hoped it would go away. Well of course it did not go away and was a sign that something was wrong. On the 3rd of October 2021 Clint had a massive heart attack and despite the best efforts of every one that was with him that Sunday morning nothing could be done.
On that Sunday October 3 we lost a fantastic Dad – son -brother – bother in-law – uncle – nephew - partner and many people's lives changed forever.
The worst part about all this is that it was preventable.
My aim at CS26 DESIGNS
1. To keep Clint’s name alive through the CS26 DESIGNS. I have been wanting to do a clothing line for some time now. Given what we have been through you learn how short life can actually be. So why sit and wait. Get out and chase what you want while you can.
2 . My aim is to supply clean modern styles on quality garments.
3. To raise awareness of heart disease and how it can affect anyone at any time.
